4/15/2006 greek mythology.
i had an interesting day today! well maybe what i did may seem boring, but i learnt quite a lot.. haha.
wells i came across this blog belonging t someone with bipolar disorder. the 1st time i came across sucha blog. so i kinda googled on bipolar disorder t learn more about it. from there i searched on other disorders like schizophrenia and narcissm. it's all very interesting!
while i was googling narcissm i came across this wikipedia page on a greek mythology character called narcissus. apparently he fell in love with his reflection in the water. -.- i found it all really interesting so i decided t read up on greek mythology on wikipedia! hahaha! it's damn cool luh. i found out they're like really scandalous! full of incest, rape and adultery! lol! and lotsa internal conflict. woohoo. i'm totally digging it. -grins. and the stories are like so fascinating luh.
so yeah from there i found this greek goddess called nike! and i found out nike was named after her! yeap! think she was the goddess of triumph and victory or smth. then i decided t check out where adidas came from. it was named after Adolf (Adi) Dassler! haha. not "All Day IDream About Sports". and puma came from his brother, Rudolf Dassler! damn cool right! sibling rivalry! LOL. xP
today has been a strangely "productive" day. haha. i found out a lot, but erm they're all in no relation t my studies which are the most important thing for me now. -.- just a lot of random stuff. hahaha.
i had a really filling dinner. fries, two hotdogs, char kway teow and popiah. kinda unhealthy, i know. but too bad it still wouldn't help me gain weight. ): boo.
